Movement Therapy and Massage for Special Needs

The Funside fills the gap for the children or adults who have developed most key movement skills finished with other health practitioners but are unable to participate in school sports or not yet capable to follow a exercise program independently in a gym or social environment.

Caters for all people on the autism spectrum. Using the PAQSN questionnaire we gather information on the adaptions needed for physical, cognitive, motivational and emotional sensitivities and family goals to plan an effective program where the client feels confident and safe embarking on their new health journey.

We help create passion and drive in the individual. Through play and adaptive movement they feel supported to grow and experiment in routines and other aspects of life.

Our movement therapy concepts have also shown to boost motor skills, improve social skills and attention span as well as reducing repetitive movements and some behavioural issues which complements other traditional autism or special needs therapies used.
